2/ Path 2 – PA would check for missing signage. CY also believed there was incorrect reference to a permissive footpath. No action known.
3/ Path 3 – No progress yet on clearing the route through the crop. Noted that Graham Johnson has fitted the stile provided by CWAC. GH had refitted the kissing gate on the junction with 24 that had been lifted off. GH and his wife Sue had also cleared away a large amount of hawthorn cuttings that had been left on 24.
4/ Path 5 – Headland not yet cut.
5/ Path 7 – Work had not yet been done. Path now impassable due to crops – PA was aware of the issue.
6/ Path 12 – No action known with regard to reinstatement of slope.
7/ Path 13 – Signage on the route down from Norton’s Lane was inadequate/confusing. PJ confirmed that he was in possession of replacement signs but had not yet fitted these. It was noted that FR had offered her husband’s help in doing this. CY believed that PA might have plans to sort this out.
8/ Path 20 – No progress known. PA has yet to provide CY with a list of works outstanding with the Access Team, to enable her to raise these with Paul Davis.
9/ Path 24 – The route from 5 to The Hough had been blocked for some years due, it was thought, to the farmer’s concerns that it might be used by horseriders who might leave gates insecure. SW undertook to arrange communication from the Parish Council to seek to resolve this issue.
10/ Path 30 – Cutting had been done by CWAC.
Sunken Lane (off Church Lane) – Plans were in hand to arrange a working party to assist in clearing overhanging branches and dog rose on both this area and the adjoining Church Lane footpath
Path 9 – CY would try to progress action on the points identified by RT, once PA had provided the promised list.
Path 11 – No progress yet on the broken stile.
Date of Next Meeting
The next meeting is on Monday 13th November 2017 at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. SW to book the hall.
